Mr. Josef Lavrincik
23.1.1951 - 18.3.2022
He was a kind-hearted man who loved his family above all else. Despite his illnesses and difficult times, he was able to enjoy life, laugh, and appreciate the little things. He loved to cook, repair, tinker, and spend time among engines in the garage. However, his greatest joy was always his loved ones, with whom he shared love, humor, and memories. He was the support that held his family together, and even though he is no longer here, his presence remains in the hearts of all who loved him.
Message from heaven
Hello everyone,
I am glad to see you again, albeit under different circumstances, but I am happy that I have remained in your hearts and memories and that my soul has a firm place up there and does not wander.
I would like to share with you some memories of me and recall the moments we shared here on earth that can never disappear. Even though my life was not easy, sometimes I was really busy, as the saying goes, illness followed illness, sometimes they came together, so it was very challenging. Still, I am glad that I could be here with you, you were everything to me. I loved my family and always tried to hold it together and be surrounded by it.
I liked a simple life, I knew how to enjoy the little things. For example, Dasha, with you, I was proud of you, because you could do everything. We could talk about everything, even about bricklaying… fun. Or I taught you how to knit, which I learned in the orphanage.
With you, Pepčo, when we discussed cars, motorbikes. I admired how beautifully you could paint, how precisely. Eternally painted crayons, markers. The most were your wonderful trips that you knew how to plan in detail, anywhere, especially to nature. The beauty that I could share with you, as if time had stopped, I just enjoyed it and gained energy.
Alča, your plum cakes were delicious, or our swing in the garden. I know you have it with you. The leaves have started to fall, it's already been cleaned, the dishes have been washed, the floor has been mopped... I have to laugh.
Péťa, I admired how you managed everything. So many activities, firefighter, football, a lot of work, but you didn't stop. It really affected us all, you know what I'm talking about. Oh, it's okay, now I'm close to you and I'm watching over you.
I also want to thank you, my wife Alčo, or mom, as I called you, for standing by me and taking care of me. It wasn't easy for me, but we made it together. The best thing was when we did something together, like baking cookies, always burning them slowly, or planting potatoes and harvesting exactly as many as there were. I used to pull out garlic with my eyes... That was just to relieve myself. Of course, we lived a part of life together that I will remember fondly.
I also greet Bilda, you rascal.
I also think of my grandchildren – Kristýna, Romča, Justýna, Eliška, Natálka, Gabča, Amynka, but also Sárinka, who was still growing in my belly, I felt it. May you all be successful in life and be happy.
As I mentioned, I loved cooking, and quite often I didn't know what I would conjure up. But I can certainly vouch for a few recipes. For example, the gnocchi, which you said were unbeatable, the pigeons that my dad used to make, or such a good flamender. But still, the schnitzel was the best, in first place for me. It was also the last thing I could have with you.
I wasn't afraid to sit down at the sewing machine or fix something, plant something. I was always tinkering in the garage among the engines. I also liked to go to the neighbors' house for a beer or just to chat.
I was often stubborn and didn't always share your opinion. On the other hand, I was happy to have you, and I think I tried to support you in everything and treat you with respect and humility.
Thank you for being here with you. You can share more memories with me here. They say it's called a QR code. I never understood these computer things, it was a Spanish village for me. And there you can reminisce a little with me.
Thank you to everyone who has kept me in their hearts and hasn't forgotten me.
We're thinking of you too, Dad, Dad - your children. This is from us to you.
